behind the scenes

Before the AI,
we were human Shravan(s)

Everyone agrees that ageing families need help. But almost nobody can tell you what exactly breaks, in what order, or what actually helps.

There is remarkably little research on the daily reality of Indian seniors. What does their day actually look like? Which small loss matters more than a big diagnosis? What makes them pick up the phone, and what makes them go quiet? So, we set up our own research lab: real seniors, real families, every single week. We tried things, kept what worked, and threw away what didn’t.

human Shravan(s) on the job, real families, every week

For two and a half years, we became Shravan ourselves. We became human sons and daughters to over 5,000 Indian seniors and siblings to their children, learning the job one family at a time.

That lived experience is the very foundation of Shravan.

Extensive research from institutions like Yale and Harvard shows that a positive, connected approach to ageing, where seniors feel heard, valued, and accompanied, can increase their healthspan by up to 7.5 years.src

For us, AI isn’t here to replace empathy. It’s here to scale it. It is simply how we bring the exact same, high-quality care to thousands of families, without ever turning into just another age-tech company.

Guided by an international panel of advisors: geriatric and mental health experts on what good care actually looks like, alongside technology leaders on how to build an AI that is safe, private, and genuinely kind.

why the name Shravan

Every generation has its Shravan

As Indians, we all grew up on the story of Shravan Kumar: the mythological devoted son who carried his ageing parents on his shoulders across the country to fulfil their wishes.

THEN
carried them on his shoulders, across India

Today’s Shravan(s) may live far away in San Diego, London, Sydney, Bengaluru ...
The devotion has not changed. But the distance has. You are building a life, while silently carrying the weight of their well-being from miles away.

NOW
carries their well-being, across oceans

We built Shravan so that distance never becomes absence. Our Shravan is inspired by Shravan Kumar’s unconditional love and devotion for parents.

Shravan carries with you,
never instead of you.
